The Jackson Township Supervisors held their regular meeting at 8:00 a.m. at the Jackson Township Municipal Building. Members present were Supervisors Dave Bracken, Bruce Baker and John Wallet along with Secretary-Treasurer / Manager Dave Hirko and Solicitor Bill Barbin. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bruce Baker with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

Board Roll Call was taken with all three Supervisors present.

Bracken, second Wallet to accept the appraisal on property 34-17-124 owned by Pristine Resources, Inc. and authorize the purchase. Vote-3 yes.

said, I would like thank the Board of Supervisors on their generous contribution to JETSA to be used for the Cherrywood - Brazil Lane Sewer Project. Thanks. . thanks from everyone at JETSA.

Chairman Baker
announced, The Board of Supervisors next scheduled meeting will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 7:00 pm at the Jackson Township Municipal Building. The 3rd Annual Fishing Derby sponsored by the Jackson Township Community Rod & Gun Club in cooperation with the Recreation Commission will be held on Saturday, May 10th, rain or shine, at Woodland Park Campground from 9 to 3. Registrations begin at 8 am. There will be lots of prizes, refreshments and fun for all. A Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at Veterans Park on Monday, May 26th at 11:00 am. Guest Speaker will be Jackson Township Police Officer Melanie Kline who is a Staff Sargent serving in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard's 2nd Brigade Combat Team of the 28th Division. We encourage everyone to come out and show your support and to honor our Veterans
