The Jackson Township Planning Commission meeting was called to order by Chairman Bruce Baker on February 22, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. All members were present.

There were no public comments.

Minutes
Don Knopsnyder made a motion to approve the minutes of the January 21, 2005 meeting. Seconded by Al Gailey. All in favor. Motion passed.

Old Business
The subdivision of Audrey (Kris) Shearer was reviewed. The property is being subdivided to separate the property into four parcels for her children. Homes already exist on these properties. After a lengthy discussion, Laird Rager made a motion to approve the subdivision under the ag exception because the property has existing dwellings on it and each new lot in the subdivision already have existing dwellings on them. The motion was seconded by Al Gaily. All in favor. Motion passed.

Don Knopsnyder suggested that a legal opinion be obtained in writing from the solicitor regarding any future subdivision of the Shearer (Kris) property.

New Business
Two (2) subdivisions for Edward & Jacqualene Simmons and Doug & Tamara Simmons were reviewed. One (1) subdivision is conveying .029 acres and 44.3 acres to Doris Williams and the other subdivision conveys .94 acre, .80 acre and .14 acre to Doris Williams. Don Knopsnyder made a motion to approve the two (2) subdivisions. The motion was seconded by Laird Rager. All in favor. Motion passed.

The subdivision of Paul Reese, Jr. transferring .38 acres to his adjoining property was reviewed. Deb Nagle made a motion to approve the subdivision and the motion was seconded by Al Gailey. All in favor. Motion passed.

The review of the preliminary site plans of the Gas Plant by Greg Shaffer was tabled because Mr. Shaffer was unable to attend the meeting.

Don Knopsnyder made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:35 p.m. Laird Rager seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
