PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 18, 2002
The Jackson Township Planning Commission monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman Bruce Baker, on March 18, 2002 at 6:30 p.m. Attending were Bruce Baker, Tom Marhefka, Laird Rager, Don Knopsnyder and Dave Cobaugh.
Public Comments
Steve Yurasek made comments concerning areas on
the Zoning Map zoned agricultural.
Robert Benedict asked if the zoning map could be brought back out. He also commented on the location of the proposed co-gen plant.
Meeting Minutes
Bruce Baker asked if there were any corrections to
the minutes which were passed out prior to the meeting. Don Knopsnyder made a
motion to accept the previous meeting minutes. Laird Rager seconded the motion.
All in favor to accept the minutes.
Old Business
Reviewed the rough draft of the subdivision
procedures. The following items were added: Phone numbers for sewer authorities;
the number of copies required; the applicant is responsible for recording
subdivision after receiving approval; and the current fee schedule.
New Business
The Minor Subdivision of Donald and Elaine Furman
conveying 4.07 acres to Tammy Lybarger. Tom Marhefka made a motion to approve
the minor subdivision. Dave Cobaugh seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion
passed. A letter will be written to the supervisors recommending approval of
this minor subdivision.
The building permits for January/February 2002 were reviewed.
The procedure and application for reviewing a Petition for a Zoning Map Change was reviewed and that section of the Zoning Ordinance was passed out.
A motion was made by Tom Marhefka and seconded by Laird Rager to adjourn the meeting at 8:15 p.m. All were in favor.
