JUNE 20, 2005
The Jackson Township Planning Commission meeting was called to order by Chairman Bruce Baker on June 20, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. Laird Rager was absent.
There were no public comments.
Don Knopsnyder made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 16, 2005 meeting. Seconded by Al Gailey. All in favor. Motion passed.
Bruce passed out a copy of the 2004 Comprehensive Plan Update from the Cambria County Planning Commission if anyone was interested in reviewing it.
Bruce passed out a copy of the Application for Subsidiary Water Allocation Permit from the Water Authority if anyone was interested in reviewing it.
Bruce passed out a copy of the windmill ordinance for anyone’s review.
Bruce stated that the community survey from Dick Sutter & Associates was ready to go out.
Letter from Brad Minemyer from Laurel Highlands Landfill to Penn Dot expressing his concerns that there was no turning lane in the plans for the new Route 22 which intersects with Chickaree Hill Road.
Letter from the Sewer Authority commissioning their engineer to do a study on Route 22.
The Farabaugh subdivison was reviewed. The subdivision was not approved. The Farabaughs need to get a clean copy of the drawing and bring it to the next meeting.
The site plan for Patrick Patterson was reviewed. Al Gailey made a motion to approve the site plan and it was seconded by Bruce Baker. All in favor. Motion passed.
Bruce Baker made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 p.m. Don Knopsnyder seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
