Jackson Township Fishing Derby 2006
The Jackson Township Recreation Commission in cooperation with the Jackson Township Community Rod & Gun Club hosted the 1st Annual Fishing Derby at the Simmons Farm Pond on Saturday, June 3, 2006.  There were approximately 60 children under the age of 12 taking part.  Over 300 trout were stocked in the pond and many were excited as they reeled the fish in, hoping to win one of the many prizes so graciously donated by area businesses.
